d3.jsis an SVG visualization library. Mike Bostock has created a great free library to make working with data and more importantly visualizing that data as easy as pie.
I’ve been learning the inns and outs of d3 for the better part of 9 months now and I’m still finding new stuff. Particularly since I learned on version 1.2, and didn’t update it untill recently to the now current version 2.8 and there’s tons of new functionality in it.
I intend to go into detail some simple examples and functionality of d3 over the course of the life of this blog simply because I want other people to be able to use it to it’s full potential. So please go download it and play with it and come back later this week to see the first getting started posts!
